Additionally, Eileen is effective at treating individuals for a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss.

After a corporate career in marketing and time nurturing her family, Eileen began her work in counseling in 1999.  With an undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University and two Masters degrees - from The Citadel and Stetson University - she has worked in a variety of practice settings.  She holds additional counseling and educational certifications from The Chicago Center for Family Health, The Gottman Institute, and the National Institute for Digital Health and Wellness. Eileen and her husband Brian returned to Jacksonville in early 2020 (yup, just two weeks before the world shut down!). She is a Mom of three adult children who live in all corners of the world, and grandmother to two precious little ones who have the good sense to live with their Mom and Dad within just a two hour plane ride.

About Counseling for Family Health

Counseling for Family Health was originally opened in July, 2010 in Celebration, Florida, just a bike ride away from the gates of Disney World. Located in a community developed by Disney, CFH encountered some unique community issues along with the challenges we all face.  A strong believer in the power of community to aid in healing and recovery, Eileen supported local schools and churches with strength-building programs, talks, and regular newspaper columns on how to develop and protect enduring mental health. This commitment continued as CFH moved up the coast to Nocatee.  Eileen's work at Counseling for Family Health focuses on strengths - in us, our families, and our communities - to help light the way toward better mental health outcomes.

FEES and INSURANCE

Fees for individual counseling are $150 for 50-minute sessions. A limited sliding fee scale for individual therapy may be available, depending on need. Relationship and family therapy have a separate fee schedule varying from $175-$225 per appointment based on length and type. Please call Eileen for details. Cash, checks, HSA cards, American Express, VISA, Master Card and Discover are all accepted.

CFH accepts the following insurance for individual therapy:  Cigna, United, Aetna, Oscar and Oxford.  If out-of-network mental health benefits are available to you through a different provider, we can provide a receipt (Superbill) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

The 2022 No Surprises Act requires that, if you are not using insurance for payment, you receive a Good Faith Estimate for the cost of your treatment. Since I have not yet met you or evaluated your difficulties or symptoms, your initial estimate will be based on national averages. This total can be affected by the duration of your treatment, your therapeutic goals, the severity of symptoms, your work between sessions, and your response to treatment.  Know that you are entitled to an update on this estimate at any time upon request.
